日本茶の茶道具・茶器専門店です。主に芸術品ともいえる美しい急須や陶磁器を扱っております。小売店で眠っていた不動在庫（長期保管品）でありながら、日の目を見ないのは勿体無い希少価値の高い逸品たちを集めました。

東京浅草にて創業し現在は栃木県那須塩原市にある「有限会社小室商店」。令和5年で創業約80年、会社設立62年を迎えます。その創業者のひ孫である私は茶道具・茶器の奥深さに惹かれ、個人事業で専門店を開きました。物心ついた頃から馴染んだ家業の事業名を残したく屋号を同名としました。

ネット上の著名な作家の急須や湯呑の販売ページでも、どういった背景のある作品なのかを説明しているところは多くないと思います。そのため、この店舗ではただ作品を販売するのではなく、その作品の窯元、陶芸家、彫刻師、作品のモチーフなどの情報を分かりやすくまとめ、より深く茶道具・茶器の世界に触れて頂くことを目指しました。ぜひとも各作品の説明をお読み頂き、作品の世界を楽しく身近なものとして感じて頂ければ幸いです。

また今ではペットボトルのお茶が、コンビニエンスストアやスーパーで買える便利な世の中となりました。しかし、茶葉と茶道具で入れた本物の味は格別なものがございます。ぜひとも、その味わいを体験して頂きたく思います。

Komuro Shoten Ltd. was founded in Asakusa Tokyo and is currently located in Nasu-Shiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. This company will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2023, and 62nd anniversary since its founding. As the great-grandson of the founder, I was fascinated by the depth of tea utensils and utensils, so I opened a specialty store as a sole proprietorship. I chose the same name because I wanted to preserve the name of the family business that I have been familiar with since I was young.
